Thanks for the suggestion. Didn't even think about requesting it. Figured if it wasn't there, he wouldn't listen to me. :P

I'll give a try, see what happens.

My guest network requires guests to enter the password on a webpage (I have the page opening automatically). Is there any way I can have the NFC tag automatically fill in the password?

Yes,, you have to set the tag up with the pass code, like mine is the picture

The NFC Task Launcher app devs will send you two free.

Just download the app, send a tweet, and in a few weeks you will receive your free tags.

I did that 3 times and no free tags so good luck.. I just bought a bunch of them. Have about 50 of them in a draw. When ever I find another use for one I go to the tag draw lol.

NFC tags are awesome, I got my two free and set on on my locker at work to mute all my sounds and added a switch to turn all the sounds on at the end of the day. I works great, I now cannot stop thinking about other things I can set a tag for. I will be buying more tags soon!

Thumbtag helps small businesses to get information to their customers digitally. Instead of handing out paper fliers, coupons, to-go menus, real estate listings, etc., these NFC tags have their own "tag page" where the information is displayed along with that company's contact info. It can also be read via QR code.

Enter the code 5OFF2013 to save $5

So which is the best NFC app to use? The one being brought up here is "NFC Task Manager" but there are others that are higher rated in the play store. Any suggestions?

I use what works. Nfc task manager works perfectly, great features,, never an issue so I have no reason to try another.. They get my vote.

Like zmann said, NFC Task Manager. I have tried most of them, but NFC Task Manager does the most and seems to be the easiest to navigate.

Curious, I am an HTC one owner and i was wondering, If i set up a wifi connect NFC tag, would the other users need NFC task launcher as well? Because i know simple things like programming web pages to open and contact info do not require the app

No,, as long as they have nfc on it will work. The app is for programming the tags.

I think NFC Task Launcher combined with Tasker is the most powerful way to automate almost any task using NFC. Too bad the tasker app is not free, but well worth it IMO.

4K business card tags are now available in the U.S! Instead of handing out cards, attach one of these stickers to the back of your existing cards and have clients tap their phone to get your info. These have lots of memory which is enough to hold all of your contact info plus a small photo or logo!
