I'm glad to see that im not the only one. I thought that maybe because i was rooted my phone wasn't installing the update and i was receiving the same update over and over. No noticeable difference

The only thing that came to mind was the implementation of Network Vision and this update affecting radios in the phone but that was a wild guess.

Is this all the same for you? I know if you have a custom recovery, it won't install... mc2 is the latest one iirc.

    Don't mind the tablet mode...

You just have to flash the Sprint stock recovery and no you won't lose root.If you do, all current methods of rooting are still working. There are instructions on flashing stock recovery at www.galaxynote2root.com. They also have stock recovery download file.
