The SGSII has a 1.2GHz Exynos dual-core CPU
The Photon has a 1Ghz Nvidia Tegra2 dual-core CPU

The PC Mag article benchmarked three phones on Sprint the EVO 3D, Photon, and the Galaxy S II Epic 4G touch

Better than what? Find me a phone that pulls up a location faster. Gs2 has no gps issues, you're thinking about the original galaxy.
