Mine's a class 4, 32GB Sandisk. No problems so far.

Don't know for sure, but my sense in researching was 10 is overkill.

Also, thanks a bunch Milo. Coming from webOS (and PalmOS before that!), I've had to do quite a bit of learning. You're posts/threads should be required reading for for all rooks.

    I have a Sandisk Class 10 32GB card...no problems, and it's fast.

Am so glad I found this thread. I did not know photos were being stored on the internal sd card, not the external sd card. I checked my camera setting and the default storage setting is to save to the phone. I changed it to memory card. I bet a lot of people don't know this. Can I plug my phone into my PC and move pics from the internal sd card onto the external sd card?

Yes, you can get your photos and other stuff hooked up with the USB cable.

Things stored on the internal SD card will show up in the Phone folder.

The stuff stored on the external SD card will show up on the CARD folder.

Better yet, just run the Kies app that comes with your phone and you can move stuff to your PC.wirelessly, with any browser on your PC.

And get the Kies software for your PC to get the backup function (you do have to hook up your phone with the USB cable with this software).

You can get the software for free from the Samsung website here:
