Notification LED working?

So I love the new phone and love the idea of a Notification LED. but..... Mine doesn't work. I have it enabled in setting but it does not work. Anyone got any ideas?

Both, if I power off the phone and power it back on I get a blue led in the bootup sequence but thats the only time I see the LED.

And the phone is Charging I'm assuming when plugged in? I would take it back. sounds like a weird problem. hopefully if other people have this issue they can chime in.... good luck...

mine works ok for text messages but when I get an email it blinks but not after a long time

The notification light blinks really slow, so at first glance you will not see any light blinking.

The led should also show when text messages arrive and when the phone is charging and when blue when fully charged. I use sms popup and the blue and red led colors work...so if you use that app you have the ability to choose red or blue.
