Taking Screenshot question

Ok maybe I'm slow ... I understand to take a screenshot you hold down the Home button and then hit the power button. The problem is that holding the home button brings up the task manager so all my screenshots are of the task manager?? How to avoid this? Thanks.

That's funny. Thanks. I had the same problem but didn't know it because I couldn't find them. Just did and had to laugh.
