My wife's Epic 4g Touch wakes her up at night when the battery reaches 100% and the phone beeps. System volume is set to 0.

How can I silence the beep?

I'd like to find a way to turn iff the sound, too. Mine sometimes wakes my wife up when I plug in the charger at 3am when I get home from work.

Can't do it in TouchWiz, but here you go ...

Oh ... hmm this still works from TouchWiz 3.0 it seems.

Go to your dialer and hold down the # button. That will put your phone in silent mode. When you plug in your charger, it will give one short little vibrate and no beep. This may work with the charging complete notification too, but I'm never awake to test it. :)

A minor inconvenience to make sure you don't wake up your loved ones.

Try just holding the power button down and choosing 'Silent Mode'!

I think that makes the phone go totally silent.

There is an app that's called Battery Charged Silencer. Only other option I believe is to go into the sound setting and check vibrate never and put it in silent mode. If you don't it will still vibrate. Kind of a pain that there is no option to silence completely without going through steps

Excellent. Thanks for the info. I installed the app but unfortunately it doesn't kill the sound when I plug in the wall charger so the only option is silent mode for that.
