So you updated your contacts with a "S.ocial N.etworking S.ite" .... I did the same thing with Facebook. You can't change these details directly because the information is pulled off Facebook. You're going to have to create the contact and then join the two together.

Here is the fix to that:

1) Go to your contacts...there select import/export

2) Select "Export to SD card"

3) The file should be saved on your card directory as a .vcf file

4) Login to your Gmail account

5) Go to import contacts and search for the file on your SD card

6) Select import

After that, there will be your entire phone directory, which will allow you to edit everyone there.

1) go to contacts
2) view the contact you want to update
3) scroll down to the list of joined accounts
4) click on the list of joined accounts (hold finger until menu pops up)
5) click the "minus" button of any online accounts (facebook, twitter, ect.

Now you can go back and update your contact list information. When finished,
just re-join the contact to their online account.

I struggled through the previous emails and by accident, I discovered the simple answer.
Go to CONTACTS
At the top are 4 buttons. The third is " History"
Press this and you will be invited to delete all messages being stored although marked as deleted.
A useful back up if you have deleted an email and wish you had not. It is still there in History until you clear history
