I have the Telus version of the Galaxy S II. I just moved to Edmonton and rely on my phone for directions heavily. However when I am using the Navigation app to speak the directions it also is speaking the "code" of the application ( I am assuming it is reading the web address of the server where the speech app is connecting to). So I don't just get "turn left in 450m" I get "xml version 1.0, speak version 1.0, www.speachsyntheisis...." you get the idea. SO I have to constantly watch the phone to see when to turn becuase by the time its finished reading the "Code" it is behind in the directions.

Any idea of how to get rid of this?

No idea. Doesn't happen to mine. This is the Google Maps Navigation you're talking about, right (the blue arrowhead that just says Navigation)? Did you try deleting/reinstalling the app?

It could also be something in Telus' firmware borking it up.. In which case you won't find much help in the Sprint forum about it.. If reinstalling doesn't help, I suggest you call Telus.
