If you are on the EG30 baseband (modem), you can download and flash the EK02 modem in CWM. You can also flash the stock EK02 kernel this way as well. These were pulled off a phone a couple weeks ago that got the update early. If Phantom Hacker updates Starburst to the EK02 base, then you'll technically have the full update.

When Calkulin updated his ROM to the EK02 base, I had the full update at that time. I'm not even sure if the system is going to prompt me that an update is available as I technically already have it heh. I'm thinking not.
Hey Jay I have the same thing as you but still have the EG30 baseband is there any difference.

Well yes. The EK02 modem (baseband) is different. What's different? No friggin clue. But it's different.

Yes restart. And to comfort people I've had no issues so far. Although unless I'm mistaken they've made a small cosmetic change. You know how when you use the slide at the bottom of the screen to quickly move to a different window? Didn't it have numbers for the different screens? It doesn't after the update.

Yep, numbered homepages are gone. Other changes you'll notice in the ROM is blue overscroll glow replaces the "bounce" effect, and there are now little directional arrows on the stock lockscreen. Nothing major otherwise though.

Nothing in NJ/PA here (home/work). I've tried rebooting, no luck. I tried a battery pull (nothing). It had been awhile since I restarted (mid November when it died one night in Vegas at like 3 in the morning). I'm not experiencing LOS so I'm not in any rush to update since it doesn't seem like much else gets addressed.

Got it last night OTA in Charlotte NC. I turned off my phone for about 20 minutes and when I turned it back on it popped up that there was a system update available. So far it seems really fast. I didn't think this phone could get any faster but it seems like the transitions are quicker. Also Quadrant scores are about 300 points higher.

Damn, despite Chantilly being just down the road, I'm getting nothing here in Arlington. Even tried turning my phone off for a while - just turned it back on, and nothing.

Ah well, maybe by tonight? My data speeds suck anyway, so it'd probably be better for me to be on WiFi anyway.

I was on my home WiFi when mine came through. I'm not sure if it made a difference but i cleared the data for the "System Updates" process in the "Running Processes" list and then immediately shut down for 20 minutes.

Looks like it's trying to come down in metro Detroit, but my connection inside my work is so bad, it can't complete. I'll do it when I get outside.

Any sign of the Android OS bug being squashed?

EDIT: Weird. Now it's saying that no firmware update available.

When they finally do release/push this out, should I "un-root" my phone and reset the counter before-hand?
