Stock shortcut replacement?

Stupid question and I am sorry if I am asking an already answered one. Can I replace the Samsung Touch Wiz dock shortcuts on the home screen with ones of my choosing? I tried the obvious methods but didn't have any luck. Thanks, Brian

Yes, the dock icons. I want to change out the stock dialer for Touch Pal and the messaging app for Handcent. I have been using Launcher Pro and it works great but if I could change those dock icons/shortcuts then I wouldn't need any replacement launcher at all

you definitely can, before I started using ADW I changed around my dock icons and I too had Handcent down there

Well I am usually pretty darn good at figuring this type of thing out but I am not having much luck on this one. I must have done something wrong following what you first posted because I didn't get it done
I will keep messing with it, I know it is something silly that I am overlooking.

ok sorry, I gave you the wrong into. more info in the link below

1. open the app icon

2. hit menu

3. hit edit

4. now drag down the apps you want in the dock

5. save your changes
