I am running rooted EL29 just to get rid of bloatware, and I would like to change my stock email app from dark theme to light. I didnt see anything related to this in the email settings. Is there a way?

Try this, download ES File Explorer (free in the market). Go into settings and enable root permissions. Go into settings and mount as writable. Click on the "up" button so that it backs you out into the system area. Click on the system folder. Click on the apps folder. Find the Gmail apk and delete it. Then go into the market and download the Gmail app. It should be the white version instead of the black version you currently have.

Before you try any of that though try uninstalling Gmail and then downloading it again through the market.

Thank you def3.. I was referring to the stock email app, not gmail.
