Ads in Notification Bar

Anybody else getting random ads in their notification bar?...I keep getting ads to win $10,000 and other random nonsense. It's only happened since the ICS update, but I'm not sure if it's the update or if maybe I got it from a website. I only use the same specific sites on my phone so I don't understand why I get this all of a sudden.

Most likely its an app you installed. Its a new way for developers to do ads instead of having them in the apps themselves.

I had the same thing happen. I installed Air Push Detector from the Google play and it told me what app was causing it. Fantastic!

Download AD DETECTOR by lookout labs. It'll tell you which apps are capable of sending ads to your notification bar so that you can uninstall them.
