SD card is formating automatically

Ive had this problem from ics to JB.... every now and then my sd card will unmount and format itself. A lot of icon go from being normal to blank sd ones... when I go into the storage setting i find that my sd card is 29GB out of 29GB. No data on it at all. I lost sooo much data it was bad. I have no idea of its my phone or the sd card...

An easy test would be to use a different card for a while. If it still acts that way, it is the OS.

Ya I thought about that. Going to buy a new one tomorrow. Was avle to recover some sectors from the msd ao I got my data back.
