I have lots of videos of my baby that I transferred to my Mac using android transfer. When playing the videos in quicktime there is an intense distortion that covers the audio completely. When I click around to different places in the video it clears up for a second, so I can tell the audio is there, but it quickly gets covered up by distortion that sounds like a cheezy alien effect. I tried taking a video in to final cut pro (where I ultimately want to take the clips) and I am getting an error message that says, "File Error: 1 file(s) recognized, 0 access denied, 1 unknown." The files that transferred to my computer are .mp4. This really sucks. I don't understand the basics, like what kind of files the video camera on the phone is making, if it can be converted, or if there are different settings in the phone that can be changed to resolve this, but I did look through all the settings thoroughly and didn't see a whole lot to try.

Any help with this would be very greatly appreciated.
