Does the 32 GB version come with 32 GB or 24 GB?

I keep reading reviews of the 32 GB version of the Samsung Galaxy SIII. When they discuss the 32 GB version, it seems there is 12 GB of internal storage and another 12 GB designated as an internal (micro) SD card. This only totals up to 24 GB. What happened to the other 8 GB of on-board storage? Is it being used for system memory programs, etc.?

Well, when Storage is advertised they normaly use the full storage, not the useable storage.
At 32GB the useable storage varies from 30-31GB. Part of this pre formated for the OS, so its not per se useable as the operating system and the apps are installed there. For the Galaxy Note this OS part is 2GB. But I doubt that the OS for the S3 needs 6GB of storage(but thats just my speculation :))
