If I do the steps you've outlined here this will only delete the picasa albums from my phone not delete the picasa albums entirely, right?

Tried to use the "unsync Google photos - clear data in gallery" method but to no avail.

Perhaps this may help. Worked well for me. In your google+, go to your search button, key in "#autobackup", delete the unwanted photos and the deleted photos would not appear in your picasa album anymore.

Don't have to have the app....it's a picture sync from google and is built in and synced by default.

Go into settings----->accounts and sync---->tap google----->uncheck sync picasa web albums.

Go into settings----->application manager---->all tab----->find gallery and clear data
I am a witness! This method works, thank you so much!!!!!

I've tried everything listed in the answers to delete these incredibly annoying Chrome pictures from my phone. I've unsynched Picasa in two different places but when I tried to go to "applications" there is no "all" button. Am I being stupid?

    Hi everyone

I have just tried what twilliams267 suggested and this works and I would think is more effective and safer than using the method suggested earlier in this thread. I fiind its always best when changing settings or deleting to do it from your computer. Thanks a bunch
