Much to my surprise LTE is already turned on in Memphis. Surprised it happened already because we never even got Wimax. Obviously it's just testing because coverage was sporadic at best, but good news none the less. I'm on Shelby Drive by the airport in case anyone's wondering.

Don't get your hopes up too soon. They put up LTE in Dallas and the 4G in the city is measly at best. If you're in all the outskirt areas such as fort worth and areas around the city you can get LTE. That's about it. What do the data speeds look like?

There's quite a bit of 4G up and running in Memphis. Several people have been mapping the Cordova area. See the attached Sensorly screenshot. There are aparrently a couple towers near the airport that are being upgraded, including one just to the north of you. Several have completed testing and have been turned on IAW the new Sprint policy of allowing users to have access to the signal as soon as possible. Typically I get in the neighborhood of 10-20 Mbs down.
