Is there any way to set up the stock Email app to 'push' Yahoo mail?

Not per Wikipedia at least. Not that it's guaranteed accurate, but I actually looked into it yesterday and when I set it up, I only got an option for time interval checks (fastest being every 5 minutes). This is on a 4.1.2 GN though, not GS3.

So I have the Yahoo Mail app which does push as the article said. But I hate the ads, and it doesn't sync over to my Nexus 7 when I read an email until I actually open the app on the N7 as well. That's why I was hoping to maybe use the default email app instead.
