So far autocorrect is about the only thing I hate about the S3. I can find the Swype personal dictionary but there doesnt seem to be any way to add to it.

The one thing I would like to change is the i vs I autocorrect. This was never an issue on my Evo.

Is there any way to change this without installing another app?

The same thing has always bugged me about swype. It's word selection is pretty good so you don't need that annoying auto-correct enabled. But without it, when you type an (i), it doesn't auto capitalize anymore. So I got in the habit of nudging upward a little when I hit the (i) key to capitalize it myself. No big deal once you get used to it.
I certainly wasn't going to stop using swype just because of that.....

Yeah, not enough for me to stop using it, but its annoying considering I didnt have this issue with Swype on my Evo.

Anyone know if you can add to the dictionary to get rid of this issue?

I added capital ( I ) to the dictionary but that didn't work either. Your options are either turn on auto correct, or get in the habit of capitalizing it yourself by nudging upward on the letter instead of just tapping it. This second option easily solves the problem and you get used to it very quickly.

Very likely when you updated, it turned auto-correct back on. If you like the way it works, leave it alone lol
