My galaxy s3 won't turn on past the Samsung screen. I tired pressing the volume up, home and power buttons at the same time and all I get is the Samsung screen and it turns black again. When I hold the volume down, home and power buttons, I am directed to some that says press up to continue or down to cancel, I then press up and then the screen once again goes black... Can someone tell what is wrong with my phone!?

Try these and if your phone still won't start up call up your mobile phone carrier and/or samsung to get a warranty fix
