My allowed contact is blocked when in blocking mode

When I have blocking mode turned on, I use the "custom" allowed list with only 2 contacts on the allowed list. Weird thing is one of the contacts can call me, but the other one gets blocked. I have tried to delete and re-add them and same thing. I added both these contacts to the "favorite list" and chose that as the allowed list for blocking mode and then they both can get through to me. Any ideas on why or how to fix this? I can use the favorite option but I preferred "custom". Thank you!

Check the exact number the caller ID shows when the one that can't call you calls you. Even he difference between 800-555-1212 and 1-800-555-1212 can make a difference. Allow the one that the caller ID shows.

I also have that problem. It will block someone on my custom list. I went to Sprint and they were useless. Anyone know a fix? I have a Galaxy Note Edge.
