Music showing double.

when I add music to the music folder it shows double in the music app. anyway to prevent this?

What music app are you using? If it's Google Play Music and you're adding music locally to your phone, you may get duplicates because it's showing music stored locally as well as in the cloud. You can choose to show music on the device only by tapping the dropdown at the upper left and selecting "On Device Only."

I'm sorry.. It shows up in power amp and stock musicplayer. I added the files by copying then from my computer.
