Does anyone know what the icon with the 2 rectangles and arrows means? I don't see any app that it's connected to and it's still there after I reboot. I tried looking up glossaries of icons and I don't see it anywhere.

Re: Status bar Icon help

I haven't seen that icon in the instruction manual.

Third party app?

That is the "Direct/Android Beam" part of the NFC.
It allows "sharing of images or music by holding devices together"
It is under the "Share & Connect" area in Settings.

When I discovered what that icon meant, it thought to myself, "Is an icon for this really necessary?"

NFC has 3 different modes on this phone. 1. Off, 2.Mobile Payments, 3. Direct sharing.
