Could my G2 battery perform better?

I've had this amazing device for nearly 5 months of, and I was very astonished at the battery life during the first month of use. Lately, I've noticed the battery has acted not so good on certain days, and really awesome on certain days, on and off like this. So is this normal considering the GSAM stats? Is there anything I could do to ensure longer battery life or at least consistent battery life? Thanks!

most of the time i find that if i have an app that sync regularly
e.g push email , news updates etc , my battery life tend to be lower.
When i change those to update only when i request , i get better battery life
