If your issue is sporadic signal loss then that issue is supposedly fixed with the next update...which hasn't hit yet.
if your issue is consistent signal problems call Sprint and explain that you generally get good signal everywhere but your home...they'll send you out a femoto cell usually. You hook that to your cable or fios connection and it will route your calls through the net. it's basically a mini cell tower that uses your home internet connection as the back haul.
I have a femto and it works very well.
