Restoring with Titanium Backup?

I decided to try Oxygen, so I flashed the newest version, coming from CM7 night 131. I wiped data, dalvik, and cache from CWM (not rom manager).

It was going fine, really smooth, not reboots, no FCs.

Then I restored all my apps and system data with titanium backup. Now I get "process.android.media" has stopped working. I tried fixing permissions, and clearing the data for Download manager. Random apps will FC, too.

Is this because I restored system data? This never happened from nightly to nightly, is it because it's a completely different rom?

Thanks for helping me with my noob mistakes :D

Yes - never restore system data when changing ROMs. You just basically un-did your data wipe. Stuff like texts, BT connections, WiFi APs should be ok going from ROM to ROM, but that's it.

+1 on this... Data restores are always risky... Same ROM, usually not too risky but occasionally will have problems....

Data restores from one ROM to a different ROM or switching of OS version (example going from 2.3.4 to 2.3.7) and that is usually a recipe for disaster...
