When you edit the file...you the to change permission to rw-r--r-- if its not already there. You need to change them in order for the changes to take affect then reboot phone.

Try fixing permission from recovery first. My home button works fine.

I don't know how people have wifi working. With the older and newer versions it has never worked for me yet. All states poor wifi connection the instantly disconnects.

Re-flashed, changed file, and now it works! thanks a bunch, it's pretty sweet.
