I tried it and it still said "error device not found" ... I did this successfully once though before and it is when it just stayed on the Google screen and did nothing.

Funny it did not want to start right now and I did a Odin 4.0.4 restore and I got excited cause I thought it was a clean wipe and Bam the same ole messed up ROM started haha :( Its funny because the exact same things come up eeeeverytime. A missed called comes in as new, 2 emails come in as new, and a text. All come up as new eeeverytime ... it is saved somewhere at this damn state :-[

And aside from looking how it looked when I had it how I wanted it and everything (including the same wallpaper and everything) I know its not the Stock ICS because when I try to turn it off I get Power Off, Reboot, Screenshot, Airplane Mode and like 3 more options on the bottom so I know thats not the stock ICS shutdown Menu.

I'll post my links to my full Gb stock files when finished up loading to Dropbox. I have used these files before so I know they work. Make sure ur phone is unlocked n USB debugging on.

U said u tried I.c.s stock. Try the Gb link stock file again. N reconnect the phone if u get connection error.

Debugging does not seem to work anymore. The ROM That loads up is so messed up im sure it messed that up too. But I installed The stock again (GB ) with Odin. It went to the Downloading screen with the yellow triangle and the Android guy sweeping stuff (pic below) looked like it was installing it and it finished and it rebooted and now it is just stuck on the Google Screen and there is a unlocked Lock below it. It normally stays here as long as I leave it. This is what happens when I try to install Stock GB. The only time I can get it to start is when i install ICS through Odin. But it wont be stock ICS it will start an old ROM with ICS.

So as of right now, it is stuck at the google screen with a unlocked lock at the bottom. It will stay like this until I let it. The only way to get it to start back up is to install stock ICS 4.0.4 using Odin even though it will not really be stock ICS nor will the phone be wiped. I can go into Stock Recovery but I dont know if that can do any good if I cant write stuff to the USB storage

Pic looks right. Perhaps to put into ur USB storage n run directly. It's a thought.

Yeah thats what I figured. Maybe put some kinda bootable stock recover or something on the USB Storage. The thing is ...now when I put stuff on the USB Storage even though it looks like its copying ..when I unmount and go to the phone the file is not there. So i cant copy or delete stuff from the storage anymore.

But yeah you mean put it in the storage and go to Stock Recover and "update from zip" right

Place in folder one_click_stock run run.bat file. If device can't be found
Reconnect to USB cord. Device Must be unlocked.

All files are in exact order as is the original folder that I have been checking as I loaded the links. Here's hoping n best of luck. Pm me about results or if u want to do a step by step.

Wow! Thanks alooot. Let me download them first. Then I will try and let you know how it went.

FYI, just going off what the user posted there for you to download its the same exact packages I have posted in the Rooting & Hacking forums which I think you said you already tried which will restore back to Gingerbread v.2.3.4

Good luck.

If you do have to flash the system images manually here is a quick step by step of what you need to do...

1. Setup a file folder directory on your computer say "Flash to Stock"

2. Place the following files inside that directory from what was provided above...

adb ex.
adbwinapi
adbwinusbapi
fastboot.exe
boot.img
bootloader.img
radio.img
recovery.img
system.img
userdata.img

3. Boot your device into your bootloader.

4. Navigate to the folder you make with all those files inside from your Windows Explorer. Now hold SHIFT and Right Click and choose "Open Command window here"

5. Now the flashing fun begins... Make sure your device is plugged into your computer.

Enter in these codes one by one pressing return after each one and allowing the device and computer to flash the images. Really the whole process from start to finish should only take a few minutes..

** Note: The second to last line "fastboot oem lock" is optional, if you want to lock your device then use it. If you want to leave it unlocked for future, then skip it.

fastboot flash boot boot.img fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img fastboot flash system system.img fastboot flash recovery recovery.img fastboot flash userdata userdata.img fastboot flash radio radio.img fastboot erase cache fastboot oem lock fastboot reboot

I tried this method but it keeps saying after demon succesfully started "error device not found" ... I tried unplugging and plugging in, turning it on and off but its just something is from with USB debugging from the ROM i think

So I tried this. And I got excited cause I noticed things were actually happening! Haha similar to when I tried it on my mac. I put every command and they all said OKAY (I attached screenshots). The phone rebooted, the google screen came up it dissapeared for a second and came back on, then the lights at the bottom lit up (back, menu, search Home). Oh but the lock dissapeared. So it is the google screen with no lock. It is where it is now. Again it is stuck here. On the Google screen with those lights on. How long should I leave it like this? it has been 5-10 mins should it have started already?

The only way to actually start the phone now if it stays at the Google screen again is to use Odin to install the ICS 4.0.4 here
(http://forums.androidcentral.com/sp...-ics-4-0-4-imm26d-leaked-official-update.html)

But once it starts...it is not a fresh 4.0.4 it takes me back to that damn Old Rom that is all tore up.

Sorry here are the screenshots seems everything went through fine. Damn i seemed to have deleted the other screen shot but everything said OKAY after it was executed. The final thing it said I believe was rebooting.

My phone is still on the google screen. Its been what like 20 mins? I really thought Paul627s method was going to do it but it seems no. Ah....

I want to give up already but I dont know. Using a Blackberry Tour 9630 is brutal haha :(

Update: Left it on the Google screen for like an hour nothing happened. I gave up and took the battery out and put it away.

I have no insurance I wonder what a Sprint Service Center can do to it? Even if they charge me a little money

To be honest unless u get a tech geek who does the same as you have done (unlock n root), sprint may not even touch the phone. A thought I had is u know how to use Odin, couldn't u load another time in the same method (leaked 4.0.4 I.C.S. from Sprint) or any other rom. It sucks that it's been so complicated for you. If u could in lock ur phone n install the files on ur USB memory of the phone it may force the phone to default. Have you tried rom manager to delete the troublesome rom?
