Downloaded a new copy, Cleared cache & dalvik, installed from SD. Still no luck.

Any chance you'll release a modded ROM?
Did a complete re-flash of the ROM and MODS with Rom Mgr and everything is badass, now.

The advanced Power Menu MOD is the single best improvement to Android in years.

Now if Google would just hotfix this bug that makes your darned widgets disappear and paid apps defaults reset on reboot, I could enjoy my new Advanced Power Menu! Dangit!

is there a standalone .zip for the tether fix?
    09-21-2012 07:14 PM
  3. hlxanthus's Avatar
The tether fix is build into the framework-res.apk, so is literally included with the mods. I could make up one without any other mods if you like, but it is only likely to work on this rom

Looking up sprint dialer codes, that one does not seem listed. *#*#786#*#* performs a hard reset which wipes data like a factory reset. But I have never heard of any one using this to activate a rom. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Can I install this on my galaxy s2 LTE (SHV-E110S) ?

OP updated with new version. For those already using this rom, the only thing not included with the v2 mods are the build.prop edits. As always, I recommend a full wipe. Skip at your own risk. All mods will need to be reapplied, just make sure you flash the latest versions.

    [BOX=Changelog]v1.2 release
    +Updated Maps.apk and Velvet.apk
    +Native Tether of 3G now works (enable from Settings>Wireless & Networks>Tethering & Portable Hotspot)
+Added several performance tweaks within the Build.Prop (most found here)
    [/BOX]
    _____________________________________________________

[BOX=Installation Instructions]-Download JRO03R-v1.2-rooted.deodex.zip [MIRROR] and place on the root of the SD card (not in any folder).
-Boot to recovery (power down, press volume up and power to enter bootloader, volume down to recovery and press power).
-Create a nandroid backup. This is NOT optional, and for your safety.
-Perform FULL wipe (wipe data/factory reset, format system, format boot). Do not report any issues if this is not performed!!
    -Install from SD card[/BOX]

I use NSTools to set options. Found you need to install, boot to recovery and set permissions. Using AirKernel r1 voodoo only, BLN on, I/O - Sio, Governor - lulzactive 200/800. Inc CPU load 80%, pump up 1 step, pump down 2 steps, screen off min step 5@200mhz. Everything else stock.

Hey I went to install this tonight and had trouble. I wiped system factory reset. Did format system and installed the rom. Got stuck in the boot up. Pulled battery. Restarted. Loaded. My sd card didn't show. Couldn't see my picture in the gallery. Also my android ID was changed. Should I make just wipe data factory reset. Then wipe cache and dalavick? Never got the Android ID error before.

I assume since you are trying to install this, you are rooted and running a custom recovery. Any how, plug in your phone to the pc and in your notification center saying USB storage. Enable from there. USB debugging is only needed for adb commands like flashing a custom recovery and such.

Thnx Hlxanthus well I guess I should have explained my problem. I have researched the oneclickroot from shabbypenguin in a qbking77 youtube video. I have tried to root for 2 days but finally gave up because the drivers for some reason don't recognize my device or something like that it says there is an error and it also never gives me the option to unlock bootloader I guess it has to do with the error but I don't know how to fix this error. Don't know what to do or what I'm doing wrong. So I thought maybe I could try to install this ROM. But my USB debug isn't popping up. So now I guess I can't install this ROM anyway. Well I'm back to square 1. Sorry for the noobie mistake. Pls help I don't know where to go from here. Any recommendations will help.
