I'm curious to get everyone's thoughts on ICS's enabling of hardware acceleration and whether it'll actually make apps and the UI seem buttery smooth like I've noticed with IOS and WP7 devices. I was with a Palm Pre before jumping to the NS4G, and though I loved webOS's card system and polish, and enjoy using Android thus far, neither were or have been buttery smooth.

On a related note -- would hardware acceleration improve the photo rendering process? I noticed with webOS, there was a slight delay when viewing pictures in the gallery to render 100% and same with Android.

After reading this article on, I am definitely pysched about getting ICS soon on the NS4G!

EDIT: Just came across this Android blogpost and other article pretty much confirming that ICE's enabling of hardware acceleration should take care of the stutter or lag.
