I wanted to know how many text message bubbles can one contact hold? This includes sending and receiving. Whats the limit? Is it 100 or 200?

Have you checked the options in your messaging app? The answer is there.

You are only limited by the device's available storage, so in other words, the limit is more messages than you could ever send

There is no limit. Literally. If you go into the message settings, "Delete old messages" might be turned on - my Nexus isn't on stock but I'm pretty sure that's in there. If it is, then the thread gets cut off at the specified limit but you can turn that limit as high as you want, or disable it completely.

The stock setting is 200 but you can change that

Messages >Menu > Settings > Text message limit
