    That's what I needed, yup!

Peter Alfonso already released that build as a rooted ROM. I like to use the rooted versions of the official updates so I was waiting for it to become official before I flashed it.

Can you still install this update over the IMM76D that was released earlier?

So, I selected "Recovery" like the instructions say, but I'm stuck in this screen with the Android and a triangle with an exclamation mark inside.
    What's going on?

EDIT: nevermind. got it going... WHEW!

If I "side load" the update this way will I still be able to receive any future OTA updates?

Maybe I'm dumb, but I'm now looking at an Android robot next to a triangle around an exclamation point after following the instructions to the letter. Is that bad?

    Optimizing Application __ of 45.

The Boot up animation was crazy.
    Ha! love the animation.

I think I might need to do an App Spring Cleaning...I have way more than you.

No, you need to go back to GB 2.3.7 to install this update that is provided in the OP

Sorry I forgot about that.. If I remember correctly when you see the yellow triangle you need to again hold Volume Up+Power to enter stock recovery...

If I "side load" the update this way will I still be able to receive any future OTA updates?
Yes, this is the official OTA update.. You would just be applying it manually but you still get the same benefit as if it was officially OTA done... No data loss either

    Sorry, I will update OP.

When you see the yellow triangle again press and hold Volume Up+Power and it will enter recovery.

I had the same problem. I pressed the Power + Volume Up again and got the menu that allows you to select update from SD. I think they need to clarify the instructions a bit for folks like you and me.

Still stuck on the robot/triangle/exclamation point. Volume up + power isn't getting me through it.

I installed using fastboot yesterday night with the factory images. So far so good but I have to say that BuglessBeast is MUCH MUCH MUCH faster than stock 4.0.4. The first boot was really slow even though it was a fresh install and it's ODEX using the Factory images. Anyways, I will be running stock for a little while and probably go back to Pete's ROM. So far so good though, no issues to report.

If you get to the screen with the Android and the exclamation point in the triangle...simply hold the volume up plus power for 15 seconds or so. Release and repeat. You should then get the option to use the SD card.

Just finished updating my nexus, first thing that I noticed is that I now have 1GB for applications instead of 512MB.
The NS4G has always had 1GB for apps, even on gingerbread.
