weird, so I checked for an update (9020A, telus, 4.0.3) and it gave me the 4.0.4 OTA update!

so that is installing now!

How can I apply the manual Jelly bean OTA to stock ICS without CWM recovery ? Don't wanna wait and don't wanna root.

Edit : Tried to update and got an Error 7 ? Any fix for this ?

The update has a build number of JRO03E, weighs in at 114.4 MB and is for the two GSM Nexus S variants (the i9023 or i9020t).

The i9023 is a GSM variant. That build is not available. If you want jellybean now you have to root and flash a port for now. Be patient

I got the ota notice before. I wiped my phone before the upgrade, and now the ota is gone. How can I force the ota?
Edit: I cleared data from Google framework 4 times and then it forced ota
