Browser help

I just got this phone saturday and switched to sprint. I have had 3 droid phones on verizon over the last year. So i am not new to android. This phone is rooted on the stock froyo rom. I am having trouble figuring out why animated radar gifs dont display in the browser. I checked for settings and found none also downloaded dolphin hd and skyfire browsers and no workie on them either. I searched and searched and cant find anything so any help would be great. Thanks.

Haha, I didn't read the signature. I couldn't figure out why someone on a Nexus would be on Froyo, or why they'd have to specify they're on "stock" anything. Love it!
