So the price has dropped from $199 to $149 same as the one year old Evo....
could this be because Sprint has realized that this phone has issues?
From what I understand, it's due to the release of the Evo 3D. I could be wrong, but there's another post here on the nexus s 4g forums with a link about the price drop of the Evo and the NS4G due to the Evo 3D launch.

This phone has been $150 for existing customers for a while from 3rd parties. Still 199 from sprint. Even cheaper if you're a new customer.
I doubt it has anything to do w/ the issues people are having. Our two are seemingly fine. But it's hard to sell a phone that is spec for spec less than the EVO 3D (setting personal preferences and value aside) for the same price.
I expect a price drop of $150 direct from sprint and $100 from 3rd parties, as it should be because it's not a new phone, just has 4G tacked on =)
I don't see this price drop on sprints website yet! Has it been dropped at the sprint stores already? I got mine 3 weeks ago, would definitely like to go in & get my $50 refund.
