    Cant seem to figure out how to disable the LOUD shutter sound?

    I tried that, doesnt work at all. Plus, when starting the camera feature it sounds like an old buick trying to start ....

    The shutter sound can't be turned off. The best you can do is wait for a root to remove the sound effect file.

    Of note, I realized today that the front-camera doesn't make a sound when triggering it.

    You could use Vignette instead and turn off the sound.

    I've tried it with Vingette, still makes the shutter sound.
