Where do I find the bootloader and how do I know if it is locked or unlocked?

Need to know how to lock the bootloader, if it is unlocked, to be able to install the new MOTO upgrade.

My phone is rooted by using the "one step method.

when you turn your phone on, it will say "unlocked" in the top left corner. If it doesn't say it, your bootloader is not unlocked.
