When I dial into a conference number and need to enter the code, my S4 does not recognize the touch tones for any number but 1 or sometimes 8. I've tried multiple reboots, turning on and off the touch sounds with no luck. Any thoughts?
This is what worked for me in a pinch. I downloaded a free dial tone app. There are a few in the android market, I imagine any will do. I guess people use them to do touch tone entry onto land lines, but the output is also picked up by your phone's mic too. So launch the dial tone app (I downloaded this one called ToneDef), then switch to your phone and start your call, as soon as you get the dialing going, swap back to the dial tone app and away you go. It shouldn't have to come to this but at least it works. This is such an egregious lack of judgement on Samsung's part to not be able to switch to a regular dial tone. At least, I haven't found how to do it. All you can seem to do is change the volume or switch it off altogether....
