Another one bites the dust

It looks like weather.com is another one that's going to stop using Sprint/Nextel for their text notifications. I got the text about an hour ago.

Although it sucks is it really an issue with android? You can install both a weather channel app and an espn app and both can be set up to give you alerts.

Well The Weather Channel app is pretty horrible now every since they updated it. It got a ton of backlash in the Android market, which I agree. the original app was fine and excellent as it was. Now the app is pretty laggy at times, slow to load, and at first it kept forcing itself to close.
