1080p Playback Problem

I just got the motorola atrix today. When i tried dragging in some 1080p videos via usb mass storage, 2 of them worked, and the other 2 would playback on other players beside the stock one, but lagged. This problem persisted throughout with all different videos, I've even tried changing the extensions to match the ones shown in the FAQ spec sheet section. What should i do?

its probably how they were encoded. you should try using a program like handbrake to encode them to the same format
