This app may help it. It finds all apk files on your sd card and gives you the option to install. This is what I did after upgrading to GB.

Do you have a dropbox account? if so download it on your pc put then upload it to dropbox. Then on your phone open dropbox and download it to your phone. Open the easy installer app and then it will find the apk and then give you the option to install. I hope that isn't too confusing, that is the exact way I did it and it worked just fine.

I tried downloading screengrabber, i got the .apk file however when i try to download it says 'no application can be found to open this file". Any help would be greatly appreciated...thx

Yep , you can see the WidgetLocker Logo in the status\notification bar (Its the 3rd one from the left)

Once you download Widget Locker open it and long press the screen and chose custom slider. When the screen to change comes up click on Themes XDA. This will take you to the XDA page were they have several dozen of widgets that you can download and instal in your device.
