AT&T Blocks the Android Market

How to get around the problem (no hacking/rooting required):
1)Turn off phone
2)Remove SIM
3)Turn on phone
4)Log into motoblur
5)Buy all the blocked apps you want
6)Turn off phone
7)Insert SIM
8)Turn back on

Hope this helps...

AT&T does not block the Market: that's the only place that AT&T allows! What you mean to say, I think, is that AT&T hides certain apps on the Market, like tethering apps, for instance, and the free version of Where.

Removing the SIM and going to the Market in WiFi only usually works to get around it; if not, you can root.

Haven't tried it yet, but I know on other androids you can simply put it in airplane mode, turn wifi back on and get what you want from the market.

if this still works, it should be a little easier than the above steps.

You might want to change the thread title, and think twice before posting something like this again.

Don't want people going in the panic mode.

Hmm I cant find pdanet!

You can access it on the Android Market easier than what has been said so far. Here is how I get around AT&T when I want an app that they block.
1)put phone in AIRPLAIN MODE(in settings)
2)turn on WiFi mode(in same settings)
3) open market store and download all you want while the phone tells AT&T that its asleep.

I use pdaNet for all kinds of things. I rwcomend paying the one time fee. It makes it a lot easier later on when you want to ad it to another phone or pc.
