If I'm understanding this correctly, the MotoBlur website, is similar to Apple's Mobile ME, right? Thus I can 'find my phone', wipe it, etc, etc, right?

But, if I use this feature, doesn't that mean I have to keep the GPS on, and thus use even more battery life?

Curious...

You are correct it is like Apple's MobileMe service. Something interesting I saw when switching back and forth between the Atrix and Inspire is the Atrix will lock itself when you remove the SIM card or replace it. While I know there is third party software to do this as well but it's built-in to the Atrix.

As for your question I turned off GPS and located my phone and it must have used cell signal triangulation to located it. It's not as accurate but it did work for me during this test.
