Gmail notification

I haven't been getting my email notifications for a few months now I have to go in and manually refresh. I don't know what I did, what do I do to get them push in and get the notifications back.

sounds like you made a mistake I made. Put on the Android Power widget (not the motoblur one but the android one). Then one of the switches will allow you to turn back on sycning. spent hours plus did a factor reset before I figured out that it was me flipping that switch that turn off all syncing.

Go into setting, apps, mange apps, clear cache/settings for gmail. I was having issues where it was deleting emails from device, not server even though there is no setting for that. Did the above steps, have to tell it to sync gmail after, and I was good to go.

Ok I did both, so ill just monitor it now and see if that worked

I had the same issue as well. I did a similar fix to what Vay had mentioned where I turned on data sync and I also removed my google account from blur, and readded. Works like a charm now.

Post back if it doesn't work and we can keep digging.
