Has anyone done this yet? I've looked for longer than I would like to admit trying to find an example of someone doing a lagfix on 2.3.3 and have not found a clear answer.

I have tried using voodoo and some other options, but I can't seem to mount the sdcard or have some other signature failure when trying to run update.zip in recovery mode.

I downloaded Ryan's OCLF and found another version of OCLF that did not work for me. The option to lagfix was "unavailable" and when I tried to click on it, it said something about a missing /usr/system/playlogos file.

I'm new to android, so I may be glazing over something that is fairly obvious. Any help is much appreciated.

Are you running stock leaked GB, or custom version of GB?

Chances are if you're flashing your cappy to GB the kernel will have a lagfix option in its kernel. some install lagfix by default.

Whatever ROM you're curious about look for keywords related to the kernel- like "Voodoo" and "EXT4".

If you're on stock GB, look into upgrading to a kernel that has a lagfix in it.

Thanks for the feedback. Honestly, at this point I'm not sure what version I have. I spent about 4 hours last night experimenting and I just kept bouncing from one version to the next hoping I could get the lagfix to take.

Where can I looking the OS to find lagfix options.

2.6.35.7-I897UCKF1-CL273832 is my kernel version. Do you know of any resources that can tell me if ext2 or 4 are available using this kernel?

    That's a stock (leaked) KF1 kernel.

    Look into something like this - [KERNEL] I897UCKF1 - Auto Root - init.d support - insecure - xda-developers

    Another resource on KF1 - [ROM][2.3.3] Cognition 5 Beta 3 | I897UCKF1 | CWM Flashable! - xda-developers

    The info is out there....
