Expandable Memory

So all the other Galaxy S phones list support for the 32GB SD cards, but the Captivate only says 16GB. Is this likely a software thing, a hardware change, or possibly just marketing where they say it only support the 16GB card, but in reality it will work with the 32GB?

It has 16GB built into the phone, and it has a micro sd card for extra storage! All the sites ive seen with specs says "Expandable memory 32GB" so im guessing you can have a total of 48GB... Which is somewhat unnecessary and saaweet!!
