Captivate vs Other Froyo 2.2 Devices

First post here after seeing the news about AT&T upgrading to 2.2 tomorrow... Got me thinking:

Where does that stack the Captivate among other Android devices?

Is Verizon running 2.2 on their devices?

What devices are running lower than 2.1, if any?

And I'm not sure what you mean by "stack up" against other devices. What specifically?

Basically just curious what other devices/carriers are running what software on their phones?

Is AT&T and the Captivate the first or last to be getting the Froyo update? I know the Nexus devices are way ahead, but what other phones are already running 2.2? (that aren't rooted bootlegs, or whatever you call it)
