PDANet and Froyo

For anyone who has updated to Froyo and also uses PDANet, does it still work after the "official" update from AT&T? I just got the phone a week ago and don't want to root it at this time. Want to at least wait until after my 30 day exchange.

To answer my own question... I went ahead with the update and PDANet does still work. Yipee!

It's still working for me, but getting "USB connection dropped" and freezing up regularly, which it didnt do under 2.1.

Yes it works after upgrade to Froyo. Use Kies v1.5.3.100_93_31

Why use pdanet or kies if it has mobile AP?

Stock from ATT does not include tether or Mobile AP; ATT guts both out and makes you pay for them if you want them back.

If you are a flasher, you may be confused since the "stock" load via ODIN does include them. The stock load you are loading in this case, is pre-gutted, not REALLY stock.

You can override the block by freezing tethering mgr with tibu
