    Very good news! Keep in mind however, that Froyo was released to the US for months before anyone saw it... there is a world of difference between Sammy releasing it, and ATT/Verizon from pushing it out. Not that anyone blamed the correct party for the delay last time, nor do I expect them to this time.

    I do hope they release it though. The performance gains are not inconsiderable.

    +1. I give it til mid June before we get the "WTF SAMSUNG I CAN HAZ GINGERBREAD???" outbreak. At least we're not as bad as the Fascinate.

    Not to mention Gingerbread bootloaders actually built for our devices .
